Family owned and operated for 15 years, Seawasp Australia is the answer to all your marine power requirements! Managing Director, Stewart Butler, has over 25 years experience in the marine industry and is widely known in boating and fishing circles.
Seawasp is centrally located on the Brisbane River at the Rivergate Marina and Shipyard in Murarrie. The shipyard includes a 12 000 sqm hardstand with 75 and 300 tonne travel lifts on site. The marina offers 105 berths and deep water access for vessels to 80m in length. Our workshop opens directly onto the hardstand, making it an ideal location for boats of all shapes and sizes to complete refits, maintenance works and repairs. Offsite, we have four mobile vehicles providing service to our customers both locally and interstate.
“We have been dealing with Stewart and the crew for 11 years, we run three barges to and from Fraser Island on a daily basis and regularly require parts. Seawasp have always gone above and beyond to help us out in somewhat critical times. All the best in the future guys.”

“I have dealt with Seawasp for the last 16 years. In fact, they repowered my 40ft O’Brien with a pair of 450 Iveco’s. Stewart and his team provide great service and technical back up. Drewe, his right-hand man, is always quick to help, in and out of normal business hours. The team is up to date on the latest technical advancements in diesel engines, which is very important with today’s common-rail diesel engines. I wish the Seawasp team well in the future.”
Steve Holland – Managing Director Onshore Oils, World Record Holder and Olympian
“The friendly, ongoing professional advice and directions you have given is as good or better than any other supplier I have had the pleasure of dealing with over my 28 years in the Commercial Marine Industry.”
